CoastCon 32 Saturday
Night Party Tables
Rules
CoastCon is
ALWAYS
trying new and exciting ways to keep the
fans
together and give you what you guys crave
from
us...more fun for your dollar. This
year
one of those ways is having party
tables
for fan groups who would maybe like to
promote
their group during our Saturday night
party/Dance
at the host hotel this
year. We
are doing this because
the host
hotel is NOT allowing any
room
parties this year and we of course think it
can't
be a convention with out at least some
kind
of room party, so why not all of us doing
one
together in the hotel's function main
function
room? The Fan party tables
are
free, but of a much limited number
so we
would need to know if you are
interested
in one ASAP before they are all
gone.
For those
interested, the
basic rules
include--
1.
Tables
are limited. Please sign up in
advance
if you are
interested.
No
exceptions.
2. The
dance begins at 10 pm
Saturday
night in the banquet room at the Super
8.
Set up time for party tables,
begins
at 9 pm.
3. While
drinking is
allowed at
the dance,
Alcoholic
beveridges are
NOT to be served at any
of
the party tables.
All
other food and drink service is permissible.
Please
keep in mind that there will be people
under
drinking age, 21, present at the dance and
remember--
You
and
your club/group are 100% resposible for what
food
and drink you serve,
so
act/think/prepare
accordingly.
Also,
keep
in mind you
will
be doing clean up of your table area
afterward,
so please
remember
to make a table coth, paper
towels
and a trash bag or two part of your clubs
decorations.
4. Electricity
is
not
guaranteed at every table and is on a first
come,
first served bases. If you're
going
to need an outlet, once again, regester
with
the Fan Liasion ASAP and let him
know.
5.The host Hotel
requires ALL
signs
and other decorations
only
be affixed to the walls by
push
pins. No tape, nails,
staples
and/or similar set-ups may be used.
Also
no candles and/or open flames in your
area
as well. You and your club
will
be responsible, within reason, for any
damage
your group/club may cause in your
area.
