Hope Haven Children's Shelter is a non-profit shelter for abused and neglected children. Four local women who were familiar with the plight of local children who had been abused and neglected started a drive to open a safe house...a shelter....a place where innocent children could go.

Over the last seven years almost 2,000 children who have been beaten, burned, raped, starved or abandoned have walked or been carried through their doors. CoastCon is proud to sponsor Hope Haven because "Our Help is Their Hope". As it does every year, CoastCon will be holding a charity auction to benefit Hope Haven at our annual convention.
