The host shall be an individual 21 years of age or older.
Under 21? Then you cannot host a room party.

The host shall take full responsibility for the actions that take place in the party or video room for the duration of the event.
If you host a party then you are responsible.

The host shall abide by CoastCon's rules.
These rules, by-laws, or any other rules.

The host shall ensure that all local, state and federal laws are upheld during the event.
Hosts, you are responsible for knowing what's illegal and preventing it at your party.

The host shall take full responsibility for damage to any persons or property in the room during the event.
If anyone breaks it at your party, you bought it.

The host shall hold harmless CoastCon, Inc. and any volunteers or persons under the employ of CoastCon during the event.
Hey, we are just doing our job.

The host shall only allow CoastCon members to attend the event.
Make them show you their CoastCon XXXI badge.

If alcohol is available at the event, the host shall only allow persons who are 21 years of age or older to attend the event.
If there is alcohol, only let people in who are legally old enough to drink it.

The host shall provide security, with a representative at the door for the entirety of the event.
We mean it. Keep one of your people posted at the door.

The host shall ensure that other hotel guests are not disturbed by the event.
If you are lucky you might get one warning before your party gets shut down.

The host shall sign a CoastCon XXXI Party/Video Room Waiver Form prior to hosting the event.
Contact the Hotel Liaison through the e-mail above to get the form.

The host shall agree to allow CoastCon staff and elected board members to monitor the event to ensure the rules are enforced.
Again, just doing our job.

The host shall agree that failure to enforce these rules will result in the immediate closure of the event.
We mean it!
