The Mississippi Gulf Coast is returning to normal operations in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Our beautiful Coast suffered immense damage, but momentum is growing as we continue the rebuilding phase of recovery.
The "Mississippi: Beyond Katrina" Website can answer many of your questions about recovery updates, recovery and rebuilding, and what to expect.
(Quick Fact: Over 50 million cubic yards of debris were collected within the first 10 months after Hurricane Katrina. By comparison, 25 million cubic yards of debris were collected after the San Francisco earthquake that leveled that city at the turn of the last century.)

RATE:
The regular (rack) rate of the rooms is $129.95 plus tax;
the CoastCon rate is $97.46 plus tax (12%) = $109.16 total
To qualify for the CC rate and be included in the CC room block, you MUST call the hotel rather than make your reservations online; rate and availability will not be guaranteed with online reservations.
The CUT-OFF DATE to qualify for the CC rate HAS PASSED; reservations made now will not be guaranteed the reduced CC rate or placement in the CC room block. If you ask nicely though they may still have a room or two at the CoastCon room rate.

ROOM TYPES:
Two Double Beds (max of 5 people)
One King Bed (max of 3 people)
One Queen Bed (max of 3 people).
(*Note - the above mentioned rate is for two people per room; there will be a $10.00 per person charge for each extra person)
ACCESS:
The hotel has two floors, but has NO ELEVATOR; it has outside entrances only.
AMENITIES:
A Continental breakfast is included in the price of the room.
There is an outside pool, which will be open depending on the weather.
Each room has:
mini fridge
microwave
iron and ironing board
hairdryer
coffee maker
EXTRA FEES:
$10.00 per extra person in room
$10.00 charge for rollaway beds & cribs
$30.00 carpet cleaning charge
NO Pets
Please mention "COASTCON" when making reservations so that you qualify for the reduced rate, and so CoastCon gets credit...for every 25 rooms rented, CoastCon gets one comp room!
PARTY ROOMS and/or VIDEO ROOMS:
If you plan to host a Video/Party Room in your hotel room, you must contact

This is so he can include you in the right block of rooms. This will also ensure you get the information regarding what the hotel can do for you to make your party more enjoyable as well as the Party/Video room rules & regulations.
